Univicity is building a diversified investment portfolio of for-profit software, training and support companies. Many of these companies will be located in emerging markets, such as Haiti. Common themes of the investment portfolio:
- Companies must leverage mobile computing – smart phone applications with cloud-based back end systems.
- Support entrepreneurs in emerging markets.
- Must support a franchise model with international growth potential.
- Leverage partnerships with mobile carriers.
