Univicity has code named its software suite in anticipation of continuing to develop the brand once ready to go to market. Until that research is complete these code names will be used to discuss conceptual business applications.

tech-overviewThe initial core offering of Univicity solutions for the Humanitarian Industry are currently code named as follows:

  • IGNITE (Emergency Response and Development Logistics)
  • SPARK (Program Data and Donor Relationship management suite including Child Sponsorship/Child Data Management)
  • BONFIRE (Church engagement & mobilization) and MARKETPLACE (Online Marketplace, Social Network and Collaboration Space that empowers stakeholders to come together to complete the humanitarian transaction)

These are the critical enabling technologies that fill in the gaps currently existing in program Field management, workflow/process improvement, content management, Donor management, Donor engagement, social networking and communications for the Humanitarian industry:

It is important to note that Univicity’s offerings will easily connect (through exposed Application Programming Interfaces) with existing Donor management solutions being provided by firms like Blackbaud, Convio, and others.

Univicity Humanitarian Business Suites provide:

  • Automation and optimization of mission/program execution
  • Comparison of mission/program results (true outcomes and impact measurement)
  • Solicitation and identification of needed and available assets (human and physical) to meet program needs in the Field
  • A mechanism for local communities to present their needs through the Bonfire online platform (program solicitation)
  • A multi-user, visual, collaborative working environment for all participants to share information in the Field, and to aggregate and analyze data captured during program execution
  • Donor self-service tools for identifying available programs and providing resources (capital and/or Gift In Kind) to those programs
  • Donor self-service tools for investigating, evaluating and providing feedback on mission/program (full Donor accountability)

In addition, each Suite is:

  • Developed on top of the DIME and Online Marketplace platform that consists of a workflow/process management system, a content management system, a collaboration system (social networking), eCommerce, and an advanced learning center system
  • Offered in a Hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) implementation
  • Delivered with Professional Services to help our clients implement our Suites. Univicity will staff up professional services to meet the demands of our enterprise clients who require integration with their existing systems
